OUR STORY
The Team
Bryan Mulkusky and Justin Long were born and raised in the Lewisburg/Milton area, and their strong passion for craft beers has led them to establish WestBanch. They believe that beer must be crafted with patience and care in order to achieve the premier quality that WestBranch craft beers offer. The wait is over, come join Bryan, Justin and the WestBranch family in Bull Run today, and in the WestBranch venue in the Spring of 2016!
The Facilities
Beginning in Milton in a sub shop turned tatoo parlor, WestBranch started humbly, only serving about 2 days a month through specialty openings and beer samplings. Its 1,000 square foot venue contained a one-barrel nanobrewery. However, in 2014, Bryan and WestBranch moved to its current location in Lewisburg, upgrading to a seven-barrel system. It's been a long road, requiring strength and patience, represented by the WestBranch elephant. Brewing is in the works, with a variety of beers surely to leave those taste buds satisfied!
The Background
WestBranch prides itself on its connection to the Lewisburg community. WestBranch beers are crafted with rare, locally grown hops from a New Columbia hop farm in order to provide the most quality product possible. Additionally, the name itself derives from the "west branch" of the Susquehanna river, a testament to the company's roots in the area.
